Kay Lawrence is a Doctor of Visual Arts student at Queensland College of Art.
Her art practice critically engages with matters of personal identity, ecology, social justice, memory and contemporary cultural phenomena. Using elements of photography, digital media and textiles, she seeks ways to develop her practice to further integrate these (seemingly) disparate media through individual works and those made in collaboration with others. Her conceptual concerns as a visual artist are focussed on embracing and understanding the human condition.
